This week during an in-class exercise involving line we listened to musicians, and we drew the first things that came to our mind. This was a high-speed and compulsive exercise that was based mostly on unintentional creativity. Below is one of my favorite outcomes of this exercise.

The song that inspired this drawing was written by Bernard Herrmann, most famously known for his work on vertigo and other famous Hitchcock films. I decided to take this design and create a design around the theme of Alfred Hitchcock and his film Vertigo.

I created this design by layering the map a few times, blending them, and then inverting the colors. I then erased where I wanted to add circles and accents. The plan is enjoyable but also practical. The above image could be used as a standalone art piece or as wall paper/ pattern work. Overall, I am happy with the outcome!
